Another SHOT Show has come and gone and my aching feet are testament to it getting bigger and bigger. This year we took the huge step of hiring someone to cover Flashlights. There is so much new in this area that it is impossible to do the whole thing. Please keep those donations coming in; it helps make this possible. I also would like to thank the Riviera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas who generously provided rooms for our correspondents covering the show. Without their support, we could never have afforded to do this.
This SHOT Show Report is split into into three sections: Knives (including multi-purpose tools), Lights (including flashlights and headlamps) and Gear (covering everything except knives and lights), the latter not yet completed. Please note that due to unexpected duties involving the development of new standards for emergency beacons that are a result of our findings last year of problems in this area, necessitating a trip to Washington, D.C. right after SHOT Show and now to London for a week, time to compile the Knives portion of this report has been limited.
