Explanation of Survival Equipment and Supplies Ratings

Conclusions

MPI's "You CAN Survive" really ought to be called, "you can eat" since its primary focus is sustenance. The packaging is secure, but unwieldy and bulky, not likely to be carried in your pocket and you can't add anything. If it's not with you in a pocket, it's not likely to be available to save you. We rate this kit as "mediocre."
